Ravdoucha Beach

Located 21 kilometers west of Chania, Ravdoucha is a stunning beachfront destination on the west coast of the Rodopos peninsula. Visitors will find olive groves, rocky outcroppings, and steep mountains as part of the landscape. This area has a few small bays with pebbles and beautiful rock formations, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. Ravdoucha also hosts a few well-known fish taverns and basic tourist facilities, though there are no umbrellas available. To reach Ravdoucha, the easiest way is by car via a paved road from the Chania-Kisamos highway, and the village is located atop a hill overlooking the sea. Along the way, visitors should be sure to stop and take photos of the cavernous chapels of St Marina and St Onoufrios. The northmost beach of the area is Neratzia, a tranquil sandy beach with a small pier that functions as a small harbor.
