Nestled on the coast of Cape Sideris, between Ravdoucha and Agios Vasilios, Skotini Beach is a hidden gem. To get there, you have to take a 20-25 minute hike from the area of Saint Marina (Agia Marina) in Ravdoucha and head to Nopigia. As you make your way down the steep gorge, you’ll come across the remnants of a former iron ore transhipment facility, as well as a small abandoned settlement, Skotini. Along the way, you’ll also pass by a large cave where local goats take shelter.
Once you reach the beach, you’ll be greeted with stunning views and crystal-clear waters. Unfortunately, the beach is often affected by strong west winds carrying trash, so it’s best to visit when the south winds are blowing. Skotini Beach offers an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the scenery. With its pebbles and small crevices, it’s an ideal location for those seeking a tranquil getaway.
