Limanaki beach

Located close to the port of Agios Nikolaos, Limanaki beach provides an ideal spot for a quick dip in the crystal-clear waters of the town. The beach is composed of small pebbles and offers excellent views of the nearby island Agii Pantes, as well as the cliffs of Kavoussi. If you’re looking for a bit of culture, you can also visit the sculpture of Nikos Koundouros, located next to the beach. This artwork depicts the ‘Rape of Europa’ and was designed by the renowned artist, with the help of the brothers Pantelis and Nikos Sotiriadis. The sculpture has been recreated in the European Parliament in Strasbourg, creating a link between the two locations.
