Agriomandra is a hidden gem located 24km east of Agios Nikolaos and 3km west of Kavousi village and Tholos beach. It can only be reached by crossing the short gorge of Agriomandra on foot. This picturesque beach is well-protected by the hug of the gorge’s walls and is known for its crystal clear green waters. It was originally used as a port by the Venetians and Venetian building ruins can still be seen around. Not only is it the perfect place for isolation and nudism, it is also an ideal spot for snorkeling. Walking north from Agriomandra, visitors will find the deserted beach of Sykies and the cape of Spathi Homata. This breathtaking cape rises up to 250m and can only be accessed on a boat. Visitors can also explore Theriospilios Cave and Chryssokamino ancient site, which are located close to the cape.
