Hermilia Beach is situated in the area of Agia Triada, also known as Tso, located in the province of Sitia. It lies two kilometers east of the Atherinolakkos Power Station and is the westernmost beach of the Livari coast.
The beach is the product of the small canyon Tripiti, taking its name from a distinctive, hollow rock formation located a few meters north of the shoreline. To access the beach, one has to descend from the nearby summer lodgings of the Agia Triada residents and walk towards the sea.
The beach is small but beautiful, with its crystal blue waters and fine pebbles. Unfortunately, the view of the Atherinolakkos Power Station does detract from its beauty. Fortunately, the smoke from the factory only reaches the beach when the west wind blows.
