Exploring the northern coast of Crete starting from Maridati and going as far as the picturesque Vai palm grove can be a rewarding experience. Along the way, visitors can discover various hidden coves, only accessible by boat or on foot. The journey takes around two and a half hours, and the highlight of the route is Kedromouri, sometimes referred to as Juniper’s Cape, due to the abundance of juniper trees found there. This beach is located midway between Maridati and Vai.
