Nestled 75km southwest of Chania and 36km south of Kissamos, Keramoti beach is a remote and medium-sized pebbly shore, containing rocks in some parts. Popular among locals but not ideal for families due to the lack of beach facilities, one can find rooms to let in the villages of Keramoti and Livadia. A stream with fresh water, originating from mountain springs, runs nearby, cooling down the sea water. Access to the shore is via a rough dirt track from Keramoti. The encompassing landscape is mainly rocky, yet incredibly stunning.
