Nestled in the eastern region of Sfakia, the two beaches of Keratidi are a perfect spot for those looking to get away from it all. Accessed by a paved road leading east from the nearby town of Laki, the beaches offer seclusion and a sense of adventure.
The beaches are sandy, and the easternmost beach is particularly rocky, making it the ideal spot for snorkelling. The name of the beach, ‘Keratidi’, is derived from a carob tree that once stood in the area. The Lakki and Rodakino regions are home to many carob trees, making it easy to identify why the beach was given its name.
