Lagoufa beach

Lagoufa is a stunning destination situated in the east end of the Makrigialos beach, approximately 59km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 24km east of Ierapetra. This gorgeous cove is comprised of two adjacent beaches, which are located close to luxurious hotels in Makrigialos. The first beach has a beautiful golden sand, shallow and crystal clear blue waters, and is fully outfitted with umbrellas, bars, showers, and water sports. Despite its proximity to the hotel, this beach is open to the public and can be accessed both through the hotels or by crossing the rocky east end of Makrigialos beach. Additionally, there is a wooden path that leads to the easternmost beach and along the way, there are tiny beaches formed in the rocky limestone, as well as fresh water gushing from the rocks or the sand.
